Pride Library

Our agency had no plans in place to celebrate Pride. Of course we couldn’t let that happen. A small group of us came together and created a Pride Library. I designed a series of trifold bookmarks that each represented a prevalent LGBTQIA individual throughout history. We sourced a collection of reading material for employees to choose from. We also had a listen and learn with Jae Whitaker - long time girlfriend of Janice Joplin. Jae gave us an insight of being a black queer woman in the 60s and provided insight on how things have changed (and haven't) in the decades since then.
